Jharkhand Secondary Teacher Vacancy 2025
A large number of teachers are being appointed in the secondary schools of the state under Jharkhand Secondary Teacher Recruitment 2025. Jharkhand Staff Selection Commission (JSSC) has announced the Jharkhand Trained Secondary Teacher Combined Competitive Examination JTSTCCE-2025 on 10 June 2025 under Advertisement No. 02/2025 .
Under this recruitment, secondary teachers will be appointed on a total of 1373 posts , which include various subjects like Political Science (221 posts), Sociology (159), Psychology (53), Anthropology, Philosophy, Home Science, Geology, Applied English, Urdu, regional languages like Santhali, Bengali, Mundari, Nagpuri, Oriya etc. Apart from this, posts have also been set for technical subjects like Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Cyber Security and Data Science and along with this 150 posts have been set for special education .
If we talk about educational qualification for recruitment, for general subjects, candidates must have B.Ed. or equivalent educational training with postgraduate degree in the relevant subject . While for some posts, three-year integrated B.Ed.-M.Ed. is also valid. For computer science and technical subjects, MCA, M.Sc. (IT/Computer Science), B.Tech/M.Tech with teaching training is mandatory. Apart from this, B.Ed. or its equivalent diploma/professional course will be required for the post of special education teacher .
Apart from this, if we talk about the age limit, the maximum age for general and EWS category candidates has been kept at 40 years, while for OBC (backward class) it is 42 years, for female candidates it is 43 years and for SC/ST it is 45 years. Apart from this, additional relaxation of 5 years will also be given to Divyang candidates.
Under the recruitment, the candidates will be selected only through a written examination , which will be a state level examination in which questions related to the subjects as well as questions based on general studies and educational qualification will be asked. The candidates selected under this recruitment process will be given a monthly salary of ₹ 35,400 to ₹ 1,12,400 per month under Level 6 .

Jharkhand Secondary Teacher Vacancy selection Process 2025
The selection process of Jharkhand Secondary Teacher Recruitment 2025 is completely based on the written exam . Candidates will not have to go through any type of interview or physical examination. This exam will be conducted under Jharkhand Trained Secondary Teacher Combined Competitive Examination 2025 (JTSTCCE-2025) .
The written exam will include questions based on the candidate’s academic knowledge, subject related aptitude, educational methods, and general studies. The exam will be of multiple choice (MCQ) type and negative marking can also be done in it. The merit list of the candidates will be prepared on the basis of marks obtained in the exam and the final selection of the candidates will be done on the basis of that. After which the candidates will be called for document verification, where their educational qualification, caste certificate, residence certificate etc. will be checked.
JSSC Secondary Teacher Recruitment Exam Pattern 2025
The selection process of Jharkhand Secondary Teacher Recruitment 2025 is mainly based on a written examination which will be conducted by Jharkhand Staff Selection Commission (JSSC) . The aim of this exam is to evaluate the candidates’ general knowledge, reasoning power, mathematical ability, general knowledge of Jharkhand and expertise in the concerned subject. This exam is of total 400 marks and a total of 200 questions are asked in it .
This exam is conducted in parts – Part 1 includes subjects like general studies, reasoning, mathematics, and general knowledge related to Jharkhand state , from which a total of 100 questions are asked and each question is of 1 mark , for which candidates are given a total of 2 hours to solve . Along with this, Part 2 of the exam contains 100 questions related to the subject for which the candidates are applying. This part is of a total of 300 marks, that is, each question is of 3 marks and for this also a total time of 2 hours has been set for the candidate . The pattern of the examination to be taken under this recruitment is as follows –
